APEX-Burkina – Making contact with the structures: The BRMN

The Director General of the Agency for the Promotion of Exports of Burkina Yacouba Dié paid a courtesy visit to the Office of Restructuring and Upgrading (BRMN).
He was received by the Director Mr. Barthélémy BAMOGO in the company of his collaborators. It was a visit to make contact with the aim of identifying avenues of collaboration between the two structures for the benefit of exporting companies. At the end of the discussions, two focal points were identified. They will work to list the areas in which each structure would be comfortable intervening.
As a reminder, the Restructuring and Upgrading Office has the mission of promoting and executing the restructuring and competitiveness programs of any company, excluding those operating in the trading sector (purchase-sale).

Weaving of Faso Dan Fani: a memorandum for the introduction of a new loom

The Cotton Textile Clothing Confederation of Burkina Faso (CCTH) and the Textile-Leather and Fashion School of Hanoi signed on Thursday March 24, 2022 a memorandum of understanding for the development and introduction of a new loom that will improve the quality and productivity of Faso Danfani’s weaving.
This signing ceremony was chaired by the director of the economic and digital Francophonie of the OIF and the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam.
All the participants of the networking meeting witnessed this signature, which marks a decisive turning point in the collaboration that has been going on since 2018 between the OIF and the professional organization of cotton textile industries of UEMOA (OPICT). .
This collaboration enabled the launch of the cotton sector densification and diversification program (DEDICOT), on the sidelines of the first edition of SICOT in 2019 and especially the creation of the CCTH in January 2020 in Ouagadougou.
With the signing of the memorandum of understanding in Hanoi this Thursday, March 24, 2022, the South-South cooperation advocated by the OIF takes on its full meaning.
